Halloween by candle light - Hull

Are you on the naughty list?

'Halloween' A very deadly time

The haunting ghosts of the past in Kingston upon Hull come to visit at Halloween and leave no place quiet. This day marks the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated and quickens human death. The boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31, Samhain is celebrated, when ghosts of the dead returned to earth.

Day and Night some of the most extraordinary ghosts and apparitions have entered homes, offices, yards, schools, hospitals and more. Terrifyingly these have been seen by tourists, locals and dignitaries and particularly when least expected. Then again isn’t that the best time to see a ghost?

We specifically encourage ghosts of Halloween to appear with the festivals we hold. Even making lighted heads to attract them to our homes. Believe it or not you are in for a ghost walk by candlelight, were many ghosts are prevalent in Old Hull. Meet the good and bad, ugly, evil or non-saintly as we walk the back streets of Hull.

Enjoy the outrageous 'Live' shows, and experience the very unmerry 'DEAD' as many of Hulls Most Haunting memories and terrifying characters join you!

Make sure you avoid the witches curse, do not listen to the strange song or even the widow makers looks for they are all after your soul whether it is good or (even better) bad.
